So Much Fun!!!

Awesome workout. This other review doesn't even sound like the studio I went to, I'm definitely going back, almost 100% because of the other students and the instructors. Yes, I had to go back and re-read the class descriptions to make sure I was signing up for the class I wanted, that is mainly because there is a big variety, more than the other studios.
They have private sessions available if I just want to work on my stuff with one of the certified teachers, or I can go to the pole play classes to get tricks. I'm taking the workshops so I can continue in Pole Perfection, which is really for us to learn flow and progressive choreography. It sounds like some of the folks reviewing may have not read the class descriptions before signing up (let the buyer beware, I guess).
The girls that work out there (and a few guys sometimes) were super welcoming and sweet and even friended me on facebook to let me know about upcoming workshops. The other students are all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels, I did not feel like a dork for once in my life! It is not intimidating (I see some comments about Leesi, she definitely expects students to work but is very reasonable and quite engaging), and all the teachers I've taken classes from have tailored to what I am able to do.

Rude and unprofessional, don't waste your money!

Today was my Fourth time I attended the studio. The first time I was there I work with Leesi and she was extremely loud and demanding which is not intimidating to me but it was a little annoying. It was like going though Basic Training Again. Good thing I wasn't a beginner or I would have left and never came back. She pretty much focused on the students that had been there before or where long time customers. So i was pretty much left High and dry. The second time went their was a different instructor who could not even do a simple handspring! Once again she focused on the women who had been coming to the studio for a while and I was left high and dry. The third time I went I was with a young lady named Marina. This class was called "pole dance perfection class" the description reads "practice and prefect the routine learned in pole dance workshops from intro to pole to level three and above. You will work individually on moves that you are perfecting also on self expression during pole dance freestyle." (open pole) I am well passed intro to pole and level three, so I decided to go and practice moves that I was working on and dancing to whatever they where playing. This time I went was fine because it was just me in the class. The Fourth I went it was a little strange Marina was more annoyed and not welcoming at all. We went to into the back of the studio and she pretty much did the same thing everyone else did. Left me high and dry until about 10mins left to class when there was time to ask if I needed help. Later on that day I get an email from "Big mouth Boss " Lessie stating that they are happy that i found a love for pole dancing but the pole perfection classes are for people who take their workshops in the studio and in order to take the classes I have to take one of her workshops. SO in other words if you are just working on moves for a competition or a show u can not use the studio. My experience wasn't the best but I was willing to make this my second destination when I couldn't get to my usual studio. That idea is long gone. I would never recommend this studio to ANYONE!!!!!! Please try and find a studio that is welcoming and full of warmth. Not just one like this one that works only with people that are always at the studio.
